Jim recently received an email announcing that he was selected for the American Petroleum Institute (API) Citation for Service Award for his years of dedication to the Gaslift Task Group and service as the Chairman. This is a very distinct recognition and is one of the highest awards given by the API to the volunteers in the standards writing efforts.
This award will be presented at a special recognition luncheon at the API Annual Summer Standards Conference in June. The conference will be held in Washington, DC June 28th thru July 2nd at the Hyatt Regency.
I am so proud of Jim. He has worked hard in his field and finally gets some recognition for his work!
His dad received a similar award from API for his expertise in Petroleum Measurement in 1976.
